I have seen this alot, people trying to discredit Einstein, saying that he "stole" from other people's work, or that he recieved alot of help etc.
while its true that he did get help on the mathematical aspects of his theories..
the PHYSICAL dimensions and understanding of the theories is uniquely Einstein's achievement
I wonder if it is with people having trouble with the historical "lone genius" or "great man" historical trope
alot of is it antisemitism

Some of it is antisemitism and some of it is contrarianism
>Work on patent department and steal novel ideas
>Proclaim himself as a great genius
Great """""scientist""""" you got there
>>2347478
yes because you can "patent" the theory of relativity. kys

also he was German. That's like twice bad.

I don't know who these "many people" are. I don't see them.

>There are two things I hate in this world: those antisemitic Germans, and the Jews.
>>2347258
Nothing that different from people calling a music artist or popular film overrated. I don't agree with people who devalue Einstein but I can kind of understanding why someone might feel that way.

i mean he revolutionized science in a way that hasn't been seen since Newton in the 1600s
theres nothing really overrated about him at all

Pure /pol/ish retardation, ignore it.
