He wasn't a war criminal but he literally made a career hunting untrained peasants in wide open spaces, it's the equivalent of gunning down a bunch of retarded children with targets painted on their backs. I think someone like Adelbert Waldron who had over 100 confirmed kills in the dense jungles of Vietnam is much more impressive.
