Why have the Germans been such a liked minority throughout history? Take the US for example, in which many Europeans such as the Italians, Scandinavians, and the Irish were disliked by the already settled white population but not the Germans. Or in Imperial Russia or Scandinavia throughout the ages, in which German names were considered high status.
