We always used the geographical term, even back in the days when we knew we were Bulgarians, we always called ourselves Macedonian Bulgarians. Then Tito used this to great effect, and then we went full retard when we got our independence, shit hit the fan when we didn't get a NATO invitation in Bucharest in 2008 and our government went full revisionism to justify the failure and we have this disgusting meme country today.
