Could we live in a simulation created by beings more powerful than us, yet not divine?
Long time ago I used to troll some forums on the Internet using spamming some crazy theories I read about that, yet as time passes more and more people give credence to the possibility that we live in a simulation. I read many people nowadays, even notable scientists, who state that such may indeed be the case.
What do you think about this matter? Is it really feasible that we live in a simulation?

>we don't know why reality exists but humans can make simulations so we're probably living in one
Literally a religion. Before man could comprehend the water cycle he just passed it off as god having a piss because that was familiar to him.

Ignore this faggot.

Why do you think I should be ignored? I am the OP.

>Is it really feasible that we live in a simulation?
not really, no
now go back to /x/ please

Because while theres an ammount of evidence behind said notions, which is why some scientists get behind it, but the internet is not a place where you go and demand lab grade evidence, something you fedoras are not noticing because of your autism.

I don't wear a fedora, though I am perhaps slightly autistic. But I think that's no reason to insult me.

Where'd you get your notions on what science is being done?
>t-the media
Marxists, therefore you'll be shown only atheism and shit like that.
