besides reading I recommend some good picture books, I have pic related
Ken follet 'fall of giants' is pretty good. It's kinda memory in the sense that its Normie teir but I do say it offers an interesting insight into what went on on an individual level.
Also read Arthur links Biography of Wilson. He dick rides Wilson hard, but it lets you know America's role pretty well desu.
