He would have allied with Italy and possibly even sent aid to Francoist Spain. War with Germany was probably inevitable, but it may have been preceded with operations against the USSR, which would have potentially allowed a well-honed German war machine to gain the upper hand. Or Germany could have just gotten wrecked faster than usual without Italy on its side, it's hard to tell.
