I am a teacher at a uni in Germany. I once had a 23 year old female student from Saudi Arabia. She told me she had four kids, the oldest 10 years old, the youngest one year. I've asked a sheikh (scholar) about this and he told me that aisha was 17 or 19 I think and sayida khadija was 25 or around that age, he told me that the "she was 9" thing was perpetuated by omayat scholars to give aisha the "youthful wife" reputation
Also we don't consider any hadith associated with ibin hurayra or ibin taymiya (and the list goes on) to be credible sources
