It is inherent for fascists to care a lot about appearances. Sometimes but not always that means dressing "fashionably." But it's more about appearing powerful.

Fascism often uses powerful and emotionally evocative but usually empty symbolism to to sway the masses and allow them to express themselves down a pre laid route, motivating them to do the party's bidding and feeling good about it becuase they get at outlet for their emotions.

Hence why facists are always so aesthetic, they're literally trying to seduce the masses.

I feel like the symbolism is often pretty apt.

If it invokes something historical, it could be useful. People can mantle other kind of shit, empowering them with the spirit of that age, undergoing heroic coupling.
