I'm not butthurt at their decisions, i get why they did what they did, but i still wish Gauls survived as an ethnicity. Too many identities assimilated into nonexistence.

Pretty much. Even shitty tribals of the period did that sort of thing, the problem is they were piss poor at it by comparison and were nowhere near as methodical about doing it.

Like pretty much everybody at the time. Things like mass-raping and slaughtering the inhabitants of captured cities and enslaving people were common in pretty much every single culture at the time.
