Do you believe in Karma?
I am not aware of a reason why I should believe in its existence, so: No.

I can't prove its existence or inexistence so I try to behave well so i don't have to fear it
I believe in history and humanities which is the opposite of this thread
it's like pottery
Sort of
They ryhme
Depends on how you define it.
Define karma
I don't have proof or anything but I like to think what goes around comes around. Not that there's a being that watches everyone and rewards good and punishes bad.
It's not rational but everyone needs something.
no its all in your head. ie guilt
>bad guys rape children, torture people for their amusement, exploit the masses and get away with it
>one guy is pushed off a ladder for chopping a twig off a soulless tree
>DUDE KARMA LOL!!! GREENPEACE RULES THIS PROVES I AM A SPECIAL SNOWFLAKE FOR BELIEVING IN NEW AGE KARMA BUDDHISM

as a metaphysical force influencing the natural world, no.
However in a symbolic sense, people who go about their lives burning bridges have a way of running out of them right when they need one, and when life bites them hard in the ass, people shrug and go "karma's a bitch" because it was their own foolish behavior which brought them ruin
I'm aware of "karmic justice" in the "he had that coming" sense, but it's not some actual cosmic force. I'll use the term casually for 'what goes around comes around' sentiment but I don't believe it's a real thing.
Here's the buddhist definition
>You do action
>Actions influence your thought
>Thought influence future actions
That's karma in short.
Ofcouorse there's
>you do more action, your actions produce stronger thoughts (mental habits)
>habits influence future actions
Then there's the mental aspect
>You think about something
>That thought influences your future thought
>You think about something lot
>Those thoughts greatly influences your future thought
Karma as magic god that judges is some sort of hollywood/abrahamic depiction of what karma means

What about the Hindu definition?

Depends on which Hindu, there are hindu that believe Hindu god created karma to control the world.
There are hindus that believe karma is simply cause-effect in physical sense and nothing more.
There are hindus that believe something similar to Buddhists do (with both physical and mental aspect)
Meh. Idk.
