He was a decent enough family man with no idea on how to run a country, especially not one as diverse and large as Russia... during a disastrous world war.

The problems arent all on him though, he was surrounded by sycophants who either have little to no experience in running the state or were totally just in it to enrich themselves. Either way, Nicolas often made decisions based on information from untrustworthy or false sources.

Youd think after getting beaten by Japan he would be hesistant of further war involving Russia but then there comes little Serbia...
