Nice try, Goldberg.

If you were talking about sects they would be about five hundred years old or younger, but Orthodox Judism did not form in the same manner, so the comparison is disingenuous
But even for protestantism you can make the case they are part of the larger two thousand year old Christian movement, that new sects and doctrinal differences were always arising, and while the protestants are a recent one they are no more or less Christian than those who came before or after.

The question becomes what are you comparing modern Judaism to? How are you marking modern Jews from past sects? what is the breaking point? many Jewish sects evolved as a product of aggregation rather than a clean break with the past, so saying they are new or modern is a bit disingenuous. Its like saying the Church post Council of Trent is a new religion

The practice of Judaism as described in the bible.
The closest I know of are the Ethiopian Jews.
Almost every Jew practices Rabbinical Judaism, their book wasn't written until after the New Testament.

The practice of Judism described in the bible, with the exception of the gospels and some of the latter books of the old testament is ahistorical. scribes ascribed practices and beliefs to ancient figures that they probably didn't practice.
Rabbinical Judaism is as offshoot of the pharisees, and while the completion of the Talmud and destruction of the temple certainly had a profound effect, that was part of doctrinal evolution rather than a break, in the same way Catholicism and Orthodoxy developed from early Christianity
