Is it true Stalin was planning to invade Germany?

The Soviet Union had a plan for war with Germany in the same way the US had a plan for war against Britain, they're drafted in case they do go to war, but that doesn't mean they plan to use it.

Hitler didnt just invade spontaneously because Stalin "allegedly" mobilized BT-2s, Barbarosa was in planning since 1939. Hitler got spooked is some retarded ass theory

Stalin himself stated that once the capitalist countries exhaust themselves, he can reap in and take what's left. Not to mention the USSR had spent the entire 20's and 30's pretty much putting all their effort into building weapons and gearing up for war. Not to mention Russia had already invaded Romania and Lithuania in violation of the pact.

My understanding was that Soviets hoped Germany went to a long war against France and Britain and theyd just take some land they could and hope Germany would let them since they were too busy with the others. The short war with France was a pretty big dissapointment. An all out war with Germany was out of the question since they had already experienced it during WW1.
