>The FEDERATIVE REPUBLIC of Brazil
>The REPUBLIC of Indonesia

>The KINGDOM of Saudi Arabia

Argentina siding with the Nazis in WW2.
It shows a total lack of understanding of our history and economy at the time, we were the "honorary Dominion" providing beef and wheat to the British Empire, 80% of the beef eaten in Great Britain came from here. Joining the Axis as one of the largest exporters trading across an Atlantic Ocean dominated by the Royal Navy would have decimated our shipping and crashed our economy into the ground.
The sentiment among the people was overwhelmingly pro-Allied. As it stands, real life neutral Argentina was already rather alt-historish, we even had our own volunteer squadrons in the RAF.

The best outcome the Axis could have achieved is a negotiated peace with Britain intact, and a Cold War stalement against the USA. No Axis territories outside of Europe and North Africa, no axis territories in the Americas, and certainly not draining the fucking Mediterranean.
Japan's fate was decided, they are going to get their shit pushed in by the USA after Pearl Harbour no matter what. Their only chance of making it to the end of the war is by remaning neutral and not attacking Pearl Habour but this means no Philippines, no Indonesia, no Burma and running out of rubber and oil by 1944.

>>2204560
>>2204572
I thought it was pretty obvious, even without a legend. I was asking about the general aesthetic and honestly, I don't see how else one could represent alliances and spheres other than either the outline system on the left or the lighter shade system on the right.
>>2204579
ok but I need to know what the maps and the aesthetics used in it are trying to convey in order to give a judgment on how good the aesthetics are
>>2204585
Both maps represent the same scenario. To take the right one as the example, Nazi Germany is in gray and it's allies/puppets are in light gray. Striped areas are under military occupation. Neutral/irrelevant countries (e.g. Switzerland) could also be shown in white but I missed that.

>Not to ruin your parade but a lot of people got their own RAF squads
Not really the same thing, most other countries with RAF squadrons were either under Axis occupation (Poles, Czechs) or were British subjects (India, Rhodesia).
Argentina was unique in that it was unaffected by the conflict but it contributed the most Allied volunteers of any neutral nation after Ireland, with over 4,000 in the RAF alone and several thousand volunteers more in the French, Canadian, South African and Australian forces.
And this is on account on the particular special "Honorary Dominion" relationship we had with Britain at the time. There was more British capital invested here than in actual colonies like Australia and South Africa, and over 1 million British subjects living here, the most outside of the Anglosphere countries.
Neutral Argentina was already as alt-historish as it gets. We were one of the three wealthiest countries in the world, a sort of Spanish-speaking Canada hijacked by proto-fascists in the 1943 coup, and they moved the country in their direction as much as they could. But neither the population nor the economy could have supported us joining the Axis, our economy was way too linked with Britain at the time. That's why I said that alt-history cliche of us joining the Axis is fucking stupid IMHO.
>you got a sauce for argie beef making up 80% I'm Britain
Coming up
>>2209043
Alt histories that see South Africa joining the Axis are stupid for the same reason btw.
