Why are normie history enthusiasts mostly autists? 90% of the self proclaimed buffs I've met only know about WWII or the Civil War, or just wars to be specific. When did history become about just wars?
Also
>"Yeah, biggest mistake Hitler ever made was...."
because neurotypicals are subhuman who only care about baseball and NASCAR
Because wars are interesting
also most normies get their knowledge from videogames and movies.

I know. I tried to discuss history outside class with a friend and it was just
>The Tiger was better than the Sherman because
>Dude check out this epic sabaton song!!
>here's a funny polandball for that war

Fools often find themselves in like-minded company.

History has always been ethnocentric but I'm sure if we had film footage of the Crusades more people would give a shit.
Most history "buffs" are autists who wish they were in war and heavily romanticise some supposed idea of glory.

It's about maturity, not subject matter. Someone who actually gives a shit is never going to turn down an opportunity to learn more and will happily admit he, like everyone else, can't possibly know everything. Those who post from some imagined position of infallible authority are the ones that crack me up. Every actual historian I've had the opportunity to speak with falls into the former group bar none.
