How would History have gone differently if The Golden Horde adopted a more aggressive settlement policy in the Russian Region instead of a peaceful Taxation one?

Are you implying they had the resources?
Their only motivation was to conquer new lands, find new soil for their horses to feed

t. Crusader Kings 2 player
>>2184599
They should have exterminated the Russian "people"' desu

>aggressive settlement policy
They didn't have a settlement policy at all. They were nomads.
The tributary system they had in place was fine, if it weren't for the Islamic traitor Timur the LAME weakening them through some pointless wars and allowing the Russian principalities to sieze the window of weakness to gain strength
>>2184599
Russia would be even more Tatar than today and likely not even considered a part of Europe
>>2185686
It still shouldn't be considered a part of Europe.
>>2185713
Right, Germany and France with their new brown and black people are more (((((european))))) then Russia.

*than
And actually yes. Slavs fit in their own special category.
>>2184599
well they did that in what is now ukraine
the thing is that they needed steppes in order to feed their herd while most of european russia is forested. They also lacked the population surplus to colonize those areas
