Who was the human player?
>>
>>2181364
It was massively multiplayer.
>>
Ming, though whoever had the Romans made a good run before they went afk
>>
Its commonly accepted by historians that Hitler and Napoleon where controlled by the player. Others are more disputed.
>>
>>2181364
Ottomans
>Start as a OPM and immediately exploit Holy Wars to expand into the Balkans
>Try and get marriage alliances and personal unions with coreligionists while grinding prestige crushing regional powers
>Blob continuously in both directions, fuck up and anger a bigger neighbor to the east but recover stability in a few years
>Take new province with a high tax base and make it your capital and CoT, take decisions to maximize manpower and bureaucratic/economic efficiency so you can blob even faster
>Rage quit when your ruler with god-tier stats dies on campaign and your next heir is a shitter
>>
England
>>
Ming seeing as they're still in one piece. He didn't do very well, though.
>>
>>2181364
China is the human player on hardest difficulty troughout all of human history.

Bullshit bonuses and poor RNG made the AI discover industrialization though.
>>
britain, too noob to win on the continent so he just blobbed randomly
>>
>>2181364
More like Aztec Principality.
>>
>>2181364
Russia was the worst blobber.
>>
>>2181420
Nah they handed their save file over to their younger brother constantine
>>
>>2181364
Spain. Ai's don't blob that far away from home.
>>
ITT: EU4

Also it was either Ming or Muscovy. Ming would be easy to maintain but it's a bit difficult starting as Muscovy. That is unless you fast forward past the annexation of Novgorod.
>>
>>2182025
>China is the human player on hardest difficulty
Nah, they were on average. They had a lot of cool shit and bonuses, they just fucked up a lot around 1600
>>
>>2185486
Another possibility would be France. They already seemed to have conquered Brittany, pushed back England, and reclaimed parts of Burgundy.
>>
>>2181364
Prussia/Germany.
>>
>>2181364
Poland-Lithuania, it blobs like crazy
>>
Newfag to civ, what does blobbing mean?
>>
>>2185676
it's a Paradox game term for making your country gigantic regardless of historical borders
>>
>>2181449
This. Depending how far back you go, they conquered an area and then the ruler converted to local culture and religion to get those Islam modifiers and Holy Wars to blob into Anatolia, and ethnically replaced the not accepted cultures with their own. They sought to create a pseudo-hybrid Western/Islamic state as early as possible, knowing that trade supremacy great power wars were a few centuries down the line. Blob and prestige whore as fast as you can in order to achieve great power status as early as possible, gaining you power projection modifiers along with putting lesser nations in your sphere.

Classic player moves.
>>
>>2185647
Bullshit. The human player would never get partitioned. Brandenburg was probably human so was Muscovy, although the latter had to take some time before getting a grip of the mechanics.
>>
>>2187076
>Brandenburg was probably human so was Muscovy
makes sense, how else would they partition it.
>>
>>2181364
>Spain already united but without Sicily and Sardinia
>Ottoman Turkey ruling already over Moldovia
>no english Calais
>Timurids outside central asia
shit map
>>
England. Only a player could be so perfidious and immoral.
>>
Why does everyone say Ming?
>>
>>2181364
The Africans tribes.
>>
>>2182900
y tho
>>
>>2187167
Thanks for the Kek m8
>>
>>2187167
Nah, that was the Medieval 2 Genoa AI.
>>
this >>2183723
then they rage quit because they didn't do anything about the runaway inflation
>>
It's always a fun party when /gsg/ comes to visit.
>>
>>2185491
>They had a lot of cool shit and bonuses

That's just minmaxing. The player knew all the game mechanics beforehand and intended to win this round as evidentiated by the discoveries made by the chinese strings of centuries ahead of the rest of the world but failed to concentrate urbanization and subsequent industrialization before the AI bonused their way through those phases.
