No. it was actually one of the cleanest deaths of a country. And not even a death really, just a transition.
There was no huge bloody war with millions of casualties.
They only lost the Soviet republics, didn't get completely partitioned, weren't occupied and completely disarmed, communist leaders weren't hanged, no mass executions or purges, the ideology wasn't banned.
You can use communist symbols without being killed and you have people unironically praising the Soviet past.
