There was an old christian ethiopian monarch who was told the muslim were heretics. He ordered the Sahaab (Basically muhammed's first muslims) to explain their religion and ask what they think of Jesus. They spoke highly of Jesus (while skillfully hiding the fact that Jesus is not the son of God in Islam) The monarch pardoned them and allowed them to practice their religion in Ethiopia. Muhammed would later prevent any Muslims from attacking Ethiopia for their deed of protecting his Sahaab, although future generations not heeding his wishes.
