Should Israel and the Jewish community have to apologise for the death of Jesus and the persecution of the early Christian community?

Should Italy and the Roman Catholic community have to apologize for the destruction of the Second Temple and the expulsion of Jews from Israel?
>>2159021
That wasn't done by Christians though, it was by Roman pagans
>>2159026
And I forget, was nailing people to crosses a Roman or a Jewish execution method?
Any political elite in the world would have done the same to the Lord desu
>>2159026
And the crucifixion of Jesus was done by citizens of the Kingdom of Israel, not the Republic of Israel. Your point?
>>2159036
It was done by the Jewish community as a whole and the leaders of the Jewish commmunity. The Jews should apologise

Even assuming the accounts in the Gospels are substantially accurate (and that's a big IF), then at most you can lay the blame at the Sadducee community, which itself was a minority, albeit influential minority. It's also one that doesn't really exist anymore, and even their closest spiritual successors, the Karaites, have all but died out.
When you add into the fact of things like no corroborating evidence of the passover pardon ever existing, the likelihood that "Jesus Barrabas" was in fact Jesus of Nazareth and the passage about a choice being included later, and all other information we have about Pilate depicting him as a high-handed tyrant who executed first and asked questions later, you've got an awfully thin sliver to base this on.

Therefore the destruction of the Second Temple, the most holy site in Jerusalem, was done by the Roman Empire as a whole and the leaders of the Empire. The Italians, as the descendants of that Empire, should apologize.

>in Jerusalem
In Judaism, I mean.

>1st century AD
>Kingdom of Israel
I had no idea /his/ was this stupid, holy shit.
>>2159004
That has even less legs to stand on than white apologists use today
>>2159070
Alright the Tetrarchy. Happy?
>>2159070
What the fuck do you expect from a board of Jewish shills
>>2159030
Early Christians were literally all Jews though
>>2159282
Not all. Many were Greeks or Ethiopians they're explicitly nentioned in the NT. Paul went exclusively to Greek cities after getting out of Jerusalem, too.
