Poland had supported Rakoczi's Hungarian uprising (1701-1714) as well as the first Kuruz uprising, so it's not like they were still bffs with Austria since they themselves broke the alliance. Besides, Austria had little choice other than participating in the partitions, if they refused Russia would have simply taken a greater share, thus upsetting the balance of power.

Maria Theresa didn't initiate the first partition, nor did she even like it (Joseph pushed her into it anyway). whether or not she participated, prussia (her nemesis) and russia (russia) were about to get much bigger and stronger, the latter gaining a land border with her. better to join in and strengthen her position, and have Austria wind up being the historically nicest to its Polish population.
