Kingdom of Heaven for example had excellent costuming. They way they make all the good guys sjw and bad guys Islamophobic warmongers is painful to watch, especially that bit at the end where Ibelin Knights everyone, and takes the Queen of Jerusalem to liverify happily ever after as a farmers wife in France.

They are so drab and plain though.

The irregular helments look pretty bad, they lack the forehead brim and the wide neckguard makes them look untidy, the ornaments look tacky, the armor is plain and dull and the shields just dont give an air of uniformity and discipline.
