Whenever I study history it always amazes me that men like him existed way before our time. A man that almost seems larger than life. It amazes me that a man could conquer the known world. It amazes me that an empire like Rome actually existed and was eventually brought down.. It all seems like one giant tragedy. Men like Alexander will never grace us with his presence. An empire like Rome will never exist ever again. Does this ever bother anyone else?

The Brits weren't as interesting as Rome though. The Brits didn't have men like Julius Caesar or Augustus. Rome is just filled with interesting shit.
