I think i get Calvinists, they believe god is completely sovereign and decides everything including who gets to go to heaven and who goes to hell. i think i get Catholics and Orthodox who believe that god is all powerful but salvation doesn't mean anything if you didn't freely choose it so he decided to let us choose to be saved or not however he wants all of us to choose being saved. i don't get Lutherans they believe god is completely sovereign, wants us all to be saved but we are not all saved?
I think it's more or less the same thing as Calvinism + Jews automatically go to hell.

but then why do they believe god died for everyone and not just some people

>Trying to understand Theism
There's no logic to it mate.

>lutherans
its all about mystery for Lutherans m8, that's one of the key difference between the Calvinists and the Lutherans
>>2063548
so it's kinda like orthodox?
>>2063551
don't know never really looked it up all I know is that Lutherans love the mystery. I also read up on the Lutherans perspective of baptism and there's non-stop "I agree with the Calvinists but we have different presuppositions and not implementing what is the mystery of baptism and God".
