Has a fascist state ever become a monarchy?
pic very unrelated
You know Musso's Italy was a monarchy?
Spain sort of.
Whether or not Francoism can be considered a form of Fascism is something we can debate on forever, but it certainly shared some traits and Francoist Spain became a monarchy once more upon the Caudillo's death.

Francisco Franco would definitely qualify as a fascist figure.
He was a reactionary figure that fought against the shit regime of communism during the Spanish civil war pre-WW2.
After physically removing the issue of priest killing degenerate communists he set Spain in a correct economic direction by appointing technocrats and returning to a semblance of "free market".
By the time of his death he was a beloved figure of the majority of Spain (shitty white middle class communists will say otherwise) and relinquished power to the Spanish Royal Family which still watches over the country to this day :) thanks for asking tho anon its actually a really interesting chapter of history if you ever feel like reading more into it.
