According to reverse image search it's a murder suicide committed by a Viennese father.
>>2033212
According to the Russian officers who found them, who asked bystanders, it was man (they don't know if it was a husband or father) who shot the women in his family (who did not resist--assisted suicide, I guess would be the word) and then himself when news came that the Russians were coming.

Thats what he said tho.....
This is Private Wojtek (yes the bear). He was found as a cub in Iran by a group of Polish Soldiers. He was officially drafted into the Polish Army, specifically the 22nd Artillery Company as a private. Wojtek helped in the Battle of Monte Cassino by carrying ammo crates and artillery shells, supposedly never dropped a single one. A depiction of a bear carrying an artillery shell became the official emblem of the 22nd Artillery Company. Wojtek also enjoyed smoking (or eating) cigarettes and drinking beer.
>>2036616
Wojtek also enjoyed wrestling with the soldiers, but he probably always won.
>>2036534

senpai what are you even talking about. They clearly want to be there because its a service for their country, they clearly didnt desert and they were willing. I dont see whats so hard to understand about that.
>>2034020
Dont compare yourself like that. These kids were too young to comprehend the situation, people are too eager to die for some abstract concept like sense of nationality. It sucks to say but their lives weren't significant, the rebellion they participated in did nothing but induce the Wehrmacht to destroy their city and most likely kill their families. That is their unfortunate legacy, be happy you don't have to die for your nation. There's a reason they call this generation the silent one.
>>2034075
Their kids they don't comprehend death. I guarantee you they were sure of victory.

I was using Nazi as in part of the Nazi army though, since it is virtually impossible to know the political inclinations of the guy.
>>2038307
This is propaganda. I'd be surprised if there combined total kills exceeded 20.
>>2038364
I'm sure you don't say the same of Simo Häyhä and we have the same evidence for both kill counts.
>>2036500

Post evidence for the women sniper kill count. It's pretty well established they are just soviet propaganda just like the "night witches".
>>2038410
Post evidence for all the rest of sniper counts from Zaitzev to Kyle.
>>2038425
So you admit you have no evidence and are just parroting propaganda? Got it.
>>2038437
of course it's exaggerated, as is equally exaggerated to say that these grills only killed 20. Every sniper count ever has been exaggerated is what I have been telling you since 3 posts away but apparently you are too dense to get it.

>>2038690
Hitler's chances of winning the war went to shit when he preferred to try to take Stalingrad than taking the caucasus oil.
>>2038690
It was anti-bolshevism that happened to turn into racism, because so many Russians happened to be bolshevists
>>2038723
He definitely made some accusations that slavs were a servile race, ie not as good as aryans
>>2038690
tfw Ukrainians viewed Germans as liberators
tfw German Troops were kind to the Ukrainians at first
tfw The Ukrainians flooded the Wehrmacht with requests to serve in their ranks
tfw Hitler assigned Erich Koch, a man well documented as the most anti-slavic Nazi as Reichkomissisar to Ukraine
Hitler was his own worse enemy.
>>2038723
No it wasn't. He legit believed slavs were a subhuman race.
>>2038758
>slavs
>subhuman race
That's silly, they're a subhuman linguistic group.
>>2038786
and you are an idiot.
Everyone knows he was anti-bolshevist, but his thoughts of slavic inferiority did come as a result of that. He was saying that the jews were the bolsheviks and that slavs were a servile race. Have you ever read about his plan of lebensraum in the east and what to do to the different ethnicities that live there? He didnt say to liberate the people of bolshevism, he said to enslave, kill, or deport ethnic russians, ukrainians, poles, etc.
Also there isnt one way that racism comes to fruition, but go ahead and enlighten us on your fucked up understanding of ethnic superiority.
>>2038993
didnt come as result of that*
>>2036510

I believe the original caption was "Ruskie's corpse floats down the river" or something of that sort.
>>2040738
These were finns, right?
>>2040746
Yes. The soldier on the right is wearing an Italian M33 helmet if I'm not mistaken.
>The Finns were supplied with a number of these helmets by Italy at the outbreak of WW2. These helmets are quite similar in color and shape to the Soviet M39-M40, so in many cases the Italian helmets were issued to artillery or like troops. Direct service on the front line in a helmet so closely resembling those of the Red Army was not a good idea. This helmet was issued to a member of a field artillery unit attached to the 2nd Division in the Continuation War. The liner rivets in this helmet were replaced post war in Finland.
>>2040749
Finns were also supplied with Hungarian and german helmets ,Danish and swedish were also used. Though the stahlhelm is the most common.

>Pierre, your stomach hurt now

I gotta say, the British-patterned WWII uniforms looked really ahead of their time. The cuts were incredibly modern and practical, and now that every single army in the world wears berets, that looks ultramodern too.
