When you get to a part in history where there are two stories to what happened you tell both, then explain why each side took those points of view they did. Taking into account personal bias of the authors in the source material to try and reach a conclusion as to what happened.

Even better you find multiple sources of information. Primary sources can be just as biased as secondary ones.
