Has anyone heard or seen this one before during holocaust studies?
Bodies look too clean, everyone looks like they're posing for a stunt rather than dead.
Screams like a Spencer Tunick kinda stunt to me, Soviet style, also notice the gun of the executioner (looks like a PPSH) as well as his uniform in general (soviet style commissar hat, no german insignia on arm, etc.
Of course, the rational explanation is these are Einsatzgruppen soldiers and they didnt wear any kind of standardized uniforms. They would also be collaborators (Ukrainian, Baltic Nazi sympathizers), and for the record the Germans did have those round-rimmed hats as well. As for the gun...the Germans did use salvaged weaponry during WW2, and regarding the victims, it could be an in-progress execution so their bodies arent bloodied yet, and headshots or neck-shots would prevent the rest of the body being bloodied.
Thoughts?
Official info is that this is a photo taken during the clearing of of the Mizocz ghetto, Oct 1942.
But who is the photographer? Where was the photo found? Stuff like this was supposed to be top-secret, how can you have a dude casually photographing it?

Well, you have no presented any real argument why should it be fake, so the official story seems the most reasonable.

The photo is not from the Soviet Union, but from here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mizocz_Ghetto And it was not an Einsatzgruppen but Ukrainian collaborators (could be an explanation to the uniform) and German police.

not sure how the bodies look too "clean". the photograph isn't in high enough resolution for us to make out much of any details on the bodies
