How could Rasputin survive what he did
gypsy magic
We don't even really know the details leading up to his death. For example, we can be fairly sure Rasputin was already dead when thrown into the Neva, which goes against the myth that he was still alive when thrown into the river and succumbed to drowning.

If his death was normal, why did the Soviets destroy the documents investigating it?

The only thing that can be ascertained was that it took several shots to kill Rasputin. That itself is not particularly uncommon, and certainly not paranormal, as you seem to be implying. We have no evidence Rasputin was poisoned, and one of the perpetrators (Felix Yusupov) gave conflicting and/or sensationalized testimonies of the events that had transpired, further casting doubt on the myth that he survived poison, shooting, beatings, and only died upon drowning.
It is a fact that Rasputin did not drown, and was already dead when thrown into the water.

Typical slavic incompetence.

He didn't, he was killed by a gunshot, as confirmed by the autopsy. All that meme story about him coming back from the dead three times and eventually drowning was horseshit propaganda invented by Yusupov to portray Rasputin as a demonic warlock in the eyes of gullible religious Russians. There was also no trace of poison in his stomach so that's likely bullshit too.

Yusupov was not Slavic.
