This reminds me of a scene in Doctor Who.
FATHER: Darling, Dr. Moon is going now, but he'd like a word with you alone. Is that all right?
GIRL: Yes, of course, Dr. Moon.
MOON: Thank you. Now, listen. This is important. There's the real world, and there's the world of nightmares. That's right, isn't it? You understand that?
GIRL: Yes, I know, Dr. Moon.
MOON: What I want you to remember is this, and I know it's hard. The real world is a lie, and your nightmares are real.

Exactly. Whenever I am high like the OP clearly is I have these ridiculous thoughts that, if true, would be depressing. But eventually I realize that if the reality I've envisioned while high is actually true then that reality is reality and I can't change it so there's no point in fretting.
Then my life is literally a living nightmare.

Then I probably died a few times. Good thing my dream side keeps me alive.
I died in my dreams and met dead loved ones again. If my dreams are real, I'm not alive.
