It was too good for Germs.

Literally had no redeeming qualities and was in depression for most of its existence.

It was the first time when Germans were truly free. Of course Germans hate freedom and democracy so they destroyed it. They simply need a despotic ruler because they don't know what to do with their lives. Ordnung muss sein, as they say.
