What do you think is the significance of only 99.5% of slave traders being Christians? Why would that be specifically taught?

Very rough estimate: Dutch traders = ~4% of slave trade, of which Jews controlled about 10% of that. No significant involvement in other countries.

But let's not get bogged down in specific numbers; the question would be the same if it was 10 times that.

The only thing you could blame the Europeans for is driving up the demand for slaves in west Africa.
