Honestly i mostly need information on type of hat worn by pic related, couldn't find it anywhere. I recently got more interested in the Napoleonic wars (Thanks Cossacks II) and would love for people to most more uniforms, especially more unique and less known regiments/states I really didn't know where to ask this question so i figured i might start a thread.

The hat is called a shako.

Thats a shako? Is it a specific type, because the shako looks more square to me?

I don't know much about the type of hats. Shako seems to be pretty much a catch-all term for that type of cap. But yeah, shakos can have a sloping back, look at American Civil War era USMC shakos, for example.

Dubs and then trips, NICE. Oh yeah, but i think the term being catch all only applies to the time after the Napoleonic wars, im pretty sure only the two the left can be considered a shako from that time period, but i could be wrong. Thanks anyway.
