Marx literally said that Socialism/Communism would only come about at the peak of Capitalist development yet all these retards literally tried overthrowing poor governments and establishing something which could never work.
Surely if you want to be truly Communist you must NOT be a Communist because only then, once Capitalism gets to its end THEN we can consider other options.
Am I right or wrong?
Lenin agreed and saw the Russian revolution as merely a placeholder for a revolution in Germany or the usa.
Once it became clear it wouldn't happen they just tried to make lemonade out of lemons.

>yet all these retards literally tried overthrowing poor governments and establishing something
That's what's supposed to happen at the peak. Some people (except Russians) debate where that peak is. Consider dialectics.
>establishing something which could never work
That's a problem, the German Marxists got mad about Lenin too, but they're not remembered because they never created an empire that rivaled America and genocided gorillions. Leninism was meant as a form of accelerationalism. Skip past the Capitalism. Force atheism instead of letting it wither away. Centralizing everything because it's faster. Etc.

Leninade*
funny thing about that whole capitalism will collapse thing
it will always happen in your life time
just like the return of Jesus to earth
Sorry commufriends, your best shot was the great depression, now you have to wait for capitalism to die by a thousand cuts via automation and robotics

>Am I right or wrong?
You're not exactly wrong but you're interpreting the wrong conclusions from this.
Yes, socialism is supposed to develop from advanced capitalism. But this also requires that capitalism be overthrown when it's ripe for worker control.
But you do have a point. You can't overthrow an underdeveloped society and expect to get straight to socialism. Lenin understood this and saw that it was the task of the USSR to develop the country beyond the quasi-feudal state it was in 1917 so it could support socialism. Then the cold war happened and preparing for an impending nuclear holocaust became the chief priority.
But at the same time a lot of historical communist states didn't understand this.

>Great depression
>He doesn't know that the boom bust cycle is constant and given an indefinite time span an economic collapse of similar or greater intensity is inevitable.
>>1943912
I didn't say that. I said the German Marxists are forgotten because they did very little of note.
>>1943933
>doesn't know that the boom bust cycle is constant
Only if you adhere to Austrian economics.
kek
I personally think we are still headed towards socialism/communism. Just very slowly. It will happen gradually and logically.
I hope.
>>1943950
You're obviously a retard because every school of economics accepts the boom bust cycle as a fact. And it demonstrably is if you've opened a newspaper even once in your life.
>>1943966
Not the catastrophic ones like the great depression.
>>1943983
Yes they do, it's just that the theories are on how to fix those problems. They all believe it can happen. Some just think there's things you can do it deal with it better.
