Are there any good civil war films? I'm looking for something from a military technology perspective, preferably with lots of traitors getting what they deserve. Atlanta, Andersonville, Antietam, real hardcore shit.
I heard hacksaw ridge is pretty good.

It appears to be about WW2, (a normie war.) I am not interested in that.

Gettysburg is cool, if only because they literally film it at Gettysburg with a fuckton of real dudes. It was an extremely elaborate (and extremely romanticized) reenactment

i know it's not a movie but Ken Burns: The Civil War is GOAT.

Just watch Ken Burns.
Nothing but gloating from the official Federal historian.
What was that movie with loads of black actors and matthew broderick?
Glory is good, so's Gettysburg and Gods and Generals, but do just watch Ken Burns

lol yeah, but it's still really good.

Shelby Foote is pretty much anti lost cause in his books. Havent seen the documentary but in Civil War The Narrative he pays no mind to the it

Anti is a pretty strong here but he certainly tries to silently walk around the whole lost cause issue
