china sucks at movies
It's inevitable, Bo Xilai's popularity have shown that the only ideology with social legitimacy in China is Maoism.
Progressives hope for an economic crisis in China to topple the Communist Party, they think the Chinese will want a liberal democracy afterwards. Lol, they will just get Mao 2.0 and another round of struggle sessions and purges.
COMMUNISM WON
COMMUNISM WINS
COMMUNISM WILL WIN
Eh not really.
China is light fascism, not communist. State controlled media, internet, beliefs, etc, but capitalist economics.

They dont want to topple the party they want a gradual reform, theres enough Chinese educated on western ideals, all of them know what democracy is, but theyre smart enough to know that revolutions are stupid, not to mention the sour taste of them..

The unfortunate truth is that most people don't want to give up power, which means that a gradual transition to democracy is more often than not an oxymoron, since there are people who must be forcibly dispossessed of their prerogatives.
Anybody know why China has a no ghosts in movies policy.

If you want a serious answer china relies on (in many areas of governance actually) deliberately vague interpretation of rules. What ends up happening is companies self censor to the maximum extent possible so their product isnt stopped dead in its tracks.
For example Dota 2 in china had skeleton king for a fair while, and then they changed him to this green glowing meaty thing called wraith king. No one had told Valve to do so, they just didnt want to give the authorities a reason to fuck with them.
Maoists are complete idiots. He never understood Marxism
