no such battle existed, on the first day of the invasion of poland a unit of polish cavalry charged advancing german infantry to delay their advance so that polish infantry had more time to move to a superior position. The germans were caught by surprise and retreated, the polish pursued them but were themselves counter attacked by german armored cars and withdrew after suffering some losses.
