That said calling Columbus, Vespucci and da Verrazzano americans is fucking retarded.

But they aren't Americans at all.
I don't know why any of the outlaws are of any "significance", i feel like they were put there because of America's obsession and glorification of criminals.
None of them (from what I know) are significant except for Al Capone, and even then it's mostly just in pop culture.
