Yeah.. a lot of these old European building look beautiful and sophisticated from the outside and then you see than the interiors are humid, smell bad and there's mold everywhere. Or the rooms and apartments themselves have weird designs (small area but with very tall ceilings, etc)

Thanks, I think I've seen it in a movie. Looks like it was rebuilt a bit differently. Notice the set of pillars to the left of the main set on the second floor. They're just a cosmetic overlay now. They also tried really hard to make the stone uniform, which is not an improvement imo.
