Do people truly desire freedom?
>>1880052
No.
>>1880052
Only the ignorant and the criminal
People desire what they dont have
>>1880052
No, they actually do not, they desire order.
Redpill for yah.
People desire unity, understanding and a sense of purpose. A society that is more and more individualistic is weakening to the soul and mind. Human beings work and feel best together. It's how we cope with our mortal struggles. A person can endure most evils so long as he shares that pain with his fellow peers.
>>1880052
I do.
>>1880052
They do, but only when balanced with stability and safety.
>>1880052
If they didn't, you wouldn't have rebellions.
>>1880076
Couldn't have said that any better.
>>1880052
Of course they do. The only problem is none of them know what it actually means/requires.
>>1880062
I'm an ignorant criminal. Am I most desiring (and deserving) of freedom?
People want freedom, but without responsibility
Freedom from what? Freedom to do what?
It's such a meaningless word without qualifiers and conditions attached.

No, sir. I am far more ignorant than you. I am the most desiring and deserving of freedom.
Freedom isn't even a coherent concept when you start to examine it more closely. At least not in my experience.
When you get rid of all the negative liberty, positive liberty bullshit that tries to make sense of the mess what you finally end up with is power. What people call freedom is power with a much politer and more passive face. Power to make your desired state of existence a reality.
Yes, people truly desire power.
