There was only 1 front in ww2 and it was the eastern front. USSR would have reached Paris weren't it for the Americans arriving with a comparably tiny force in Europe.

Ask yourself why in spite of the fact that Russians, Ukranians, Poles, Belorussians lost large chunks of their populations, noone talks about the war in this way, noone knows.

Kind of an aside, but the Kaiser's army was frickin amazing. The Wehrmacht get good press but bitched out after 2weeks at Kursk in '43. The Kaiser's army went at Verdun for 10 MONTHS, and lost almost as many men as the poofy nazi twits committed to battle at Kursk, and still had the juice to knock out Russia, effectively knock out Italy (French and British divisions had to be sent to shore up the collapse there), and come close to breaking the French and pushing the BEF off the continent. tldr; the Nazis get the press, but it's there dad's who were the scary ones.

There is a huge difference between Verdun and Kursk. At Verdun the French didn't know the attack was coming, the soviets had 5 months to prepare for Kursk. Its not even a fair comparison.

If the central powers won, would they absorb the allies colonies into their own empires? How would it be distributed among the powers, would Germany just take all?

The French army is surrounded and destroyed and the Allies in the west are forced to a peace agreement whilst Russia is blown out after that.

All the british industry and wealth as well as the colonial manpower could have done nothing if the war was decided at that battle.

But Germany lost and then they were grinded down.
