Martin Luther didn't intend on creating another Christian sect. He wanted to reform the Catholic Church but the authorities went full retard because any hint of criticism was treated as heresy. The Catholic Church was extremely corrupt in Europe. Only Spain cleaned up its act at the time.

Was Thomas Jefferson the most important villain in all of history? In a period where Britain had or would establish hegemony over the planet and North America was the most important continent by far, he managed to split the only institution that could be considered a common factor among all anglo nations.

Indirectly this would cause wars and destruction at all scales, from between nations to families. Almost every war and rivalry up to and including the Civil War in Syria had some element of American-centric event to it to such as the War in Iraq.

The war of 1812, the American civil war, the spanish-American war, world war 1, world war 2, korea, vietnam, the Iraq War other various bloody wars in the americas, asia and europe can be attributed to the ideas of Thomas Jefferson. In fact by 2016 it is said that more than 174,000 Iraqs had been killed or displaced due to battles, smart bomb attacks, drone attacks and terrorist attacks. If people weren't killed they were forced to join ISIS leading to more problems like the Syrian Civil War. Even right now, his teachings are used to encourage and justify American nationalism and racism.

For these reasons I believe that Thomas Jefferson could be considered the worst human being to exist. Had he not come up with the Declaration of Indepdence, the world would be a much better place.

For these reasons I believe that Timur Lenk could be considered the worst human being to exist. Had he just stayed in Transoxiana the world would be a much better place.
