Why was the Judeo-Christian tradition able to evolve

Christianity only evolved where there were whites and particularly Northwestern European whites. Southern Europeans (Catholics), and Eastern+Oriental Orthodox are just as stagnant as Muslims

With that said, Islam is considered unchanging. The Quran is the "last word of God," Muhammad was the "last prophet," and all that. Muslims pride themselves on how the Quran has not changed. I cannot recall the word Muslims give to this. If I remember it I'll post back here.

You're asking why western civilization outstripped its peer competitors. There is no silver bullet, theological or otherwise. Put it this way: after the Black Death, within a few decades there were thousands of plague tracts in Europe -- basically do it your selfer get-well books. The Muslims wrote six, all of which were combinations of pre-Islamic numerology and really bizarre Christian Science-esque studies of the Quran. The Koran was only starting to be written down 30 years after Mahound's death. It was written on various scraps, including such things as the shoulder blade of a camel. Decades later, two different guys started to collect the scraps and wrote two different versions of the Koran. Allegedly they were identical except for the one difference being that the order of verses was different. But we don't know that because on upon reading the other guy's version, one guy destroyed his copy. And let's not even get into the issue of the Satanic verses. And Saracens don't even derive all that much from the Koran. The meat of their religion comes from the Hadiths, which have about as much to do with the Koran as the Talmud has to do with the Bible.

The most important thing is the Reformation. Catholic Church is basically the same as Islam, it leads to authoritarian governance by religious authority. Protestantism was important because it led directly to democratic ideas--everyone is able to determine their own faith, etc. There's no institutional mediator.

Christianity had to evolve to fit Europeans, a very creative people, as is evident by their historical inventiveness. It would be more strange if it were stagnant while everything else about their culture isn't. It also had to partially fit some of their old traditions (similarly, old Persia adopted Islam (by force mostly) but modified it to fit their old culture). For example many of the holidays are really pagan festivities and the idea of the "holy trinity" which is a breakdown of singular divinity similar to the old pantheon of gods. They had a very deep and subjective system of beliefs before, the concept of questioning things didn't seem to just disappear, though of course it was subverted to an extent by the church.

Arabs didn't modify much because they're not very creative people (inb4 hurr they invented maths, much of what's considered "Arab inventions" are really inventions of people they conquered)
They're not concerned with delving deeper into concepts, as is evident with how they are today. They happen to have trillions of dollars worth of the world's most valuable resource and what do they do with the money? Go to space? Invest in scientific and medical research? Fuck no, let's build palaces of gold and encrust out cars in diamonds.

Besides, the whole religion revolves around its name: submission. I don't think it would be taken kindly if they tried to modify it.

I say Arabs and not Muslims because it's the Arabs who haven't evolved their beliefs. Islam has evolved in some places, look at Iran for an example. They're very liberal by Islamic standards. Theres also the different branches and schools of thought. Sunni, Shia, Ismaili, Suffi, Shafi'i, etc. So, it kind of has evolved at some points, usually to fit with the cultures it's being forced into. The Arabs however are very particular about keeping their tribal brand from any sort of change.
