Is there any negative health effects to eating human meat compared to typical animal meat like chicken or beef?
>>1856259
no, it's just taboo
>>1856259
Eating human brain is a big no-no.
>>1856259
If you eat the brain there'd be a negative health effect.
My uncle fought in nam and said while he was there he tried human meat. He said it tastes like very stringy pork.
>>1856215
I legitimately want to eat human meat to see how it tastes. I don't want to kill/maim anyone but like if some dude dies in an accident or something I want to cook and eat them just to see if it's any good.

How are you supposed to cook human meat anyway, like medium rare steaks?
>>1856259
Any diseases the meat has you can get, not all diseases can crossinfect other species. Apart from that only severe psychological effects
>>1856292
>medium rare
Absolutely disgusting
>>1856292
Human is more like pork. That's why burning bodies smell like bacon. You wouldn't eat pink pork would you? You could easily get parasites.
>>1856292
something like this would be the better option
>>1856304
>Human smells like pork therefore it shares all properties
Stupidest reasoning ever, we are not related to pigs

If you've read any of those survivor accounts from people who were stranded for weeks at a time one of the lasting sources of trauma in all those cases is the memory of eating those who didn't make it. Of course, that probably has more to do with knowing the people you're eating personally.
I suppose if you had some anonymous source of human meat it wouldn't be as traumatic but I think it would be very hard to overcome the inherent cultural revulsion we have towards cannibalism. You might be able to say it wouldn't bother you but when it came time to bite into that human leg it would be a different story.

>Something went wrong
I think.you can hide it
>>1856319
Most people compare it to stringy pork
>>1856274
There's this dutch tv programme called 'spuiten en slikken', there's an episode where the two presentators eat a small bit of eachothers butt meat they got surgically removed.
>>1856390
I think if you have to butcher someone you came to know to eat so you wouldn't starve to death is very different to be handed a nice human steak cooked from the flesh of someone you will never know. But I wouldn't know.
>>1856304
>burning bodies smell like bacon
god I hope I never find this out
last thing I want on my conscious is knowing that burning human flesh made me hungry
>>1856454
yeah haha right like anybody would ever have that experience haha
>>1856259

Why was human meat going around in Nam? What was the context?
Actually, human meat is among the most delicious, nutritious, and easy to digest meats of all those available.
This is because the body can break down proteins and extract nutrients due to the genetic similarity of the eater to the eatee.
This is a big part of why it is taboo.
Facts.
