Check out Christopher Clark's Iron Kingdom. It's a phenomenal book on Prussian history. While it doesn't go into super details about wars it covers the entire history of the nation, from individual people (both great and small) to ideas and concepts.

If it the winter was the reason for his defeat why would Napoleon even come back from Elba? Or even think a campaign through Germany or defense of France in 1813 was necessary? Surely if that's what defeated him he wouldn't have had experienced men to fight in the Sixth or Seventh Wars of the Coalition. Keep in mind he had more than one army and was fighting multiple fronts besides Russia. Napoleon still had 100,000 men coming out of the Russian Campaign, and was able to amass a total number of troops for the following year's campaign of 550,000 men fighting for him in Germany. When Prussia, Austria, Russia, and Sweden defeated France in Leipzig Napoleon was officially defeated. He was finally defeated in 1815 at the hands of Britain and Prussia at Waterloo. Again, if you knew the wars you would not be saying the winter was the reason for Napoleon's defeat. It was a setback, not his downfall.

Iron Kingdom by Christopher Clark is about the most comprehensive overview of Prussian history and culture you'll get.

Prussia didn't survive as a country but did survive as a very important state of the German Empire. It was dismantled/wiped away by the Allies after World War II who thought that Prussian militarism and Prussians being soulless automatons was the root cause of the vile Hunnic aggression that was the cause of both World Wars.

De-Nazification, whatever you think of the Nazis, was absolutely fucked up and the attempts of the allies to utterly erase German identity and culture in revenge for decades long grudges using "NAZIS" as an excuse is a crime much like Konigsburg being part of Russia.
