Seriously, people are way too aggressive and touchy about their history and religion.
History is something to look back at and learn about to either make sure the future generation doesn't make the same mistake or take from their experience, not to circlejerk about it as the only time X nation was relevant and shit out whenever someone says your nation is shit today. That is something I would expect on /pol/ and not here where people need to be much more objective of their views.
And then there is the eternal catholic vs protestant agenda, I swear they are worse than muslims with that shit. A part of me wishes it's just atheists false flagging, but knowing most christians they still haven't grasped the concept of "turning the other cheek" and ignore them. Because if you truly believe in your faith or creed then some opinions online should not change your view on G-d.
