90% of the population is benign historically, they do not care about their circumstances beyond getting a better life. Those who do care tend to invest time and effort stopping whatever negative forces are in play against their life, security and happiness. While I don't doubt the work is reactionary the question isn't whether or not it was Fascist or Capitalist (reminder Fascists and National Socialists weren't the only people opposed to Communism), but whether the reactionary movement is justified. To out it simply- reactionary movements do not appear out of thin air without some provocation.
To give a summation of a page- the Jewish population within Germany had exploded during the depression via immigration, namely because they were there to take advantage of the economic situation for their financial benefit. I ask you, please, just glance over it. It is a cited and documented work that gives you an insight to that time. Yes, go in guarded and with a skeptical mindset, but don't write off something you haven't even heard of before because of preconceived biases.

Can you prove that it's constant? Can you prove anything? It only gets harder when you're talking about something that no longer exists (IE anything in history).

I just started on this; a local bookstore was closing, and I live in the middle of an illiterate shithole, so I got tons of good books for cheap.

How good is this book? I'd rather read it in paperback, so I'm waiting a bit longer to buy it. I gather it's written by a novelist not professional historian, but that it's well researched and had good things said about it by other historians. Some of the things I've read in reviews seem a bit of a stretch, sure there were drugs being issued in Germany as there were in most other countries, but is it exaggerated for the sake of a good book?
