Judging by the pleibiscites in 1918, mostly German. Same goes for Pomerania. The reason Germany lost them in '45 was because Stalin took Poland's Eastern borders and needed to repay them somehow. The result was the German majority in these areas being relocated into East Germany or killed off.

These genetic arguments always sound like Germany was at least half slavic. Should add that you could do the same tests in Poland or the Czech Republic and find similar percentages of Germanic haplogroups. We're speaking of Central Europe. It naturally is a tribal melting pot.
