While there are a few minor inconsistencies, the content is a good brief history of the area. The song itself is very catchy and helps explain why there's no one rightful owner of the Palestinian region. The animation is wonderful, the timing is well executed, several subtle details (hand cut off at "So take, my hand", field slowly turns red in the part after Roman Empire, everyone looks upwards at mention of God) throughout, and overall quality animation. I personally approve.

The treaty of Ipsus clearly states that lower Syria belongs to the house of Seleukus.

Have fun finding an heir!

over-simplified tripe that could easily be said about literally every region in the world

>byzants conquered palestine from the romans

I think the fact that it can be said about almost every region in the world was part of the point.

This street child is clearly a descendant of Antiochus IV. He has blue eyes, blond hair and suffers from bipolar disorder.

>macedonians conquered israel from the babylonians
I am starting to see a pattern here.

I like it, it's a good song and animation with a nice anti-war message, but it's misleading and oversimplified as a statement about the modern Israel-Palestine conflict, trying to hard not to take a side. Those past conquests had typically been a new elite replacing an old, sometimes resulting in the persecution and eventually the acculturation of the locals but never a total replacement of the population as is happening today. The video basically dismisses the modern conflict as just the same thing that's been going on forever, completely ignoring its uniqueness in the region's history.

Pretty sure those are Sassanids. Though that would make the Arabs taking it from them inaccurate.
>>1804817
These are not minor inconsistencies, it's all literal horseshit. The Assyrians, the Greeks or the Egyptians didn't think the Levant is their god-given holy land they have an exclusive right to. Literally only the Abrahamics have this mindset about that fucking place.

No, there is a link on the youtube video to the original website stating which nation/empire each person represents.

I think those are Sassanids

Ok then!
Well, Romans liked nothing more then killing other Romans. More Roman emperors were killed by fellow Romans than all other death causes combined.

yes and no, as a person who is interested in early Israelite history, it is still in debate if the Israelites were already from the region, came from the South or were the cause of a peasant revolt. I personally believe they came from the South.
